The Ohio State University Alumni Awards for Distinguished Teaching
The Ohio State University Alumni Awards for Distinguished Teaching honors faculty members for outstanding teaching excellence in our department's classrooms. Recipients are honored by present and former students and colleagues and are chosen by a committee of alumni, students, and faculty. The following Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geodetic Science faculty recipients have been inducted into The Ohio State University's Academy of Teaching , which provides leadership for the improvement of teaching across the university.
Professor Vince T. Ricca, Awarded for the academic year 1972-1973 for distinguished teaching in civil engineering.
Professor Oliver G. McGee III, Awarded for the academic year 1990-1991 for distinguished teaching in civil engineering and engineering mechanics.
Professor Frederick Meyers, Awarded for the academic year 1993-1994 for distinguished teaching in engineering graphics.
